ProPoc 1.4 (shareware)

ProPoc is a project planner for PSION Series 3 and 3a computers. 
Price A$59.95 plus postage.

You define a project in terms of activities, milestones, and 
resources, the length of each activity and the dependencies between activities.

ProPoc will come up with a project plan that considers the interdependencies, 
informs you about start and end date of each activity and if 
an activity is critical or not (number of float days given). 
Activities can be marked as "done". Lead and lag days can be specified.

ProPoc allows you to define up to 7 projects in one file. 

Resources can be shared between activities, even between different projects. 
Activities are automatically allocated in a way that resource utilization does 
not exceed 100% . Resource schedules can be displayed or printed.

The project plan can be viewed on screen in graphical form or spreadsheet form 
and can be printed as lists or in semigraphical form into text files, WORD files
and to a printer.

ProPoc can generate alarms for certain selectable events, like activities, 
critical activities, milestones.

ProPoc can store attach WORD documents to every item for detailled descriptions.

ProPoc supports a workday/restday support that includes public holidays 
with a calendar that can be customized for many countries.

ProPoc allows to set activities "delayed" or "closed" and has 
cost estimation and budgeting functions for activities, milestones, and projects.

Requirements:
-------------

The system requires between 55k and 80k of disk space depending on the options.

When active, the system requires about 30k of main memory.

The system runs on both S3 and S3a in native mode.

Installation:

ProPoc comes with an installation utility which lets you select options
and automates the installation process.

Commercial version:
-------------------
We offer commercial versions with extended functions. Price A$99.00 plus postage.
Registered shareware users can upgrade by paying the price difference.

Registration:
-------------

Registered users receive a printed manual and a registration ID. The registration ID
enables the full functionality of ProPoc.

- ProPoc-HyperPoc connection

  It is now possible to link items from ProPoc to cards from HyperPoc and vice versa,
  and to jump quickly from the one to the other. This opens a totally new dimension
  for project documentation.

Commercial version:
-------------------

- "Save as" function to export project to spreadsheets.
   Spreadsheets are generated in the formats SPR and WKS. SPR is a PSION
   proprietary format while WKS is understood be most spreadsheet programs.
   If you use the cost estimation functions of ProPoc, you may find the
   option "SPR with graphics" interesting. This mode will generate with the
   spreadsheet a series of graphics (one for each project in the file).
   These graphics show the item cost and cumulated costs (milestones and project)
   as stacks.

- Cashflow analysis. This opens up a totally new dimension in project control.
  Positive costs or negative costs (earnings) can be assigned to activities.
  A specific function allows to plot an accumulated cost graph over the time axis.
  The graph shows at which time how much money is needed to keep a project
  (or an ensemble of projects) going.
  This function is only available on S3a.

- Agenda link. An option allows to use the PSION Agenda instead of Morpheus
  as an alarm handler. ProPoc alarms will show in the Agenda, can be edited,
  and will move to other days when projects change.
  This feature comes handy as a "one stop information".
  This function is only available on S3a.

- Supply of a variety of country specific holiday files.
